At Eastside Pediatric Dental, Dr. Winslow and our staff recognize that every child is different. We know that children need to feel respected and cared for by their dentist, hygienists, assistants and front end staff before they can trust them. It might take a little more time, but it makes for a happier patient and a brighter dental future. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Winslow has a wide range of approaches to help a child complete needed dental treatment. He will make a recommendation of behavior guidance methods for the child based upon health history, special health care needs, dental needs, type of treatment required, the consequences of no treatment and emotional and intellectual development.
Pediatric dentists are the “pediatricians of dentistry”. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Winslow has completed years of specialty training following dental school and is a primary and specialty oral care provider for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health needs.
